Itinerary
After an early breakfast, our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 AM. He will provide a briefing about your 3-day safari trip to Murchison Falls. You will then embark on a 6-hour journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you will pass through Luwero and make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking, where you will have the opportunity to see both black and white rhinos. After tracking, you will stop in Masindi for lunch. Following your meal, you will proceed to the park. After paying the park entry fee, you'll drive towards the top of the falls, and along the way, you may spot various animals such as warthogs and baboons. Experiencing the top of the falls is truly breathtaking, as you will witness the magnificent water cascading through an 8-meter gorge. Make sure to take plenty of photos! Later, you will drive to the lodge, where you can relax for the evening, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.
On this day, wake up early and enjoy breakfast at 6:30 AM. Your driver and ranger guide will pick you up from the lodge to begin your game drive at 7:00 AM. During the drive, you will have the opportunity to see a variety of animals, including lions, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, waterbucks, and numerous bird species. After the game drive, which concludes around 11:40 AM, return to the lodge to relax, freshen up, and have lunch in preparation for the afternoon boat cruise. On the boat, you will encounter Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, and elephants along the banks of the Nile, as well as beautiful birds, including singing bee-eaters, colorful kingfishers, and the shoe-billed stork. The boat ride will take you to the base of Murchison Falls, where you will have a clear view of the majestic waterfalls. If you wish, you can opt to hike to the top, where your driver guide will be waiting to drive you back to the lodge. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the lodge. Enjoy your breakfast, and then proceed for another morning game drive on your way back to Kampala. This will be a wonderful opportunity to spot various animal species, especially in the grasslands where you may encounter buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes, and a variety of bird species.
