After breakfast, drive north to the renowned Murchison Falls National Park. Make a stop for lunch in Masindi, and another at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the rare rhinos that are protected in this area. Later, you will arrive at Murchison Falls National Park, which is Uganda’s largest well-protected wildlife area, covering 3,840 square kilometers. Head to the top of the falls to enjoy the natural beauty of this spectacular site. Here, the river squeezes through a narrow 7-meter gorge, which was once over 1 kilometer wide, and plunges down with a thunderous roar, creating a water spray that often results in a stunning rainbow. Today you will track the most famous inhabitants of Kibale National Park, the chimpanzees. After tracking, you have the opportunity for a guided walk through the swamps of Bigodi.
