Per PersonThis 2-day safari takes you to one of the smallest National Parks in Uganda– Lake Mburo National Park, which is located approximately 240km west of Kampala. It takes you about 4 hours to drive to the Park. The park is home to over 68 mammal species such as buffalo, bush pigs, leopards, and zebras, as well as various bird species. It is famous for having large numbers of Zebras. The park also has great scenery, starting from the rolling hills, the lush forests to the Savannah grasslands, and seasonal swamps, to lakes.
There are 5 lakes in the park where you can engage in sport fishing, where you can catch a large tilapia and other fish species, also large numbers of hippos occupy the lakes. While in the park, you might not miss out on seeing the leopards, hyenas, and side-striped jackals at night.

Itinerary
You will be picked up by our driver guide, he will also brief you more about the 2 Days safari in Lake Mburo National park. On arrival in the park, have lunch then proceed along the park trails where you will spot various animals such as the elands, warthogs, buffaloes, zebras, and waterbucks. In the evening you will have a boat ride along the lake where you will have a great time having a chance to see different animals like the crocodiles, hippos, topis and birds like the fish eagles. Later return to for diner at Mihingo Lodge and an overnight.
Have an early morning breakfast and start off the game drive through the Park. This will give you an amazing glimpse of the Savannah. You will also see various animals such as buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, hyenas, topis, hippos, also not forgetting the different bird species on the acacia trees and near the lake, making beautiful sounds. After the game drive, check out and head to Kampala, having a stopover in Masaka for lunch and also at the Equator for photos as you proceed to Kampala, reaching in the evening. NOTE: Lake Mburo is also a great place for anyone in need of connecting to other National Parks such as Queen Elizabeth, Mgahinga Gorilla, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Parks.
